Romancing the Written Word
| Description: |
This gallery highlights romance fiction. Romance fiction is typically categorized as a story where a love interest is the central theme and includes a happily-ever-after ending. Published and aspiring romance authors are encouraged to submit their short works of romance fiction. All genres are accepted; however, be sure to follow NCTE's guidelines for submissions. Please submit unpublished work, only. |
Read NCTE's submission guidelines before submitting your work. Stories that include explicit sexual and graphic situations will not be accepted. You may not post or link to writing that is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit.
You are eligible to submit one composition (or a link to a composition already posted on the Internet) per gallery. You should not submit the same composition to more than one gallery. When you click "contribute my writing now," you will be prompted for information about your piece and about yourself. You can share this information with readers through the site search engine, or to keep it sheltered from searches. The more information you allow to be public, the more readers for your piece.
Please visit Gallery Guidelines prior to submitting a contribution to the National Gallery of Writing.
