Description: The Telling Room,a nonprofit writing center for young writers ages 8-18, offers innovative workshops, after-school tutoring, and storytelling field trips. The Room also organizes a Living Writers Series, inviting acclaimed writers to Maine to work with student writers; publishes anthologies of student work; and conducts community storytelling projects.
All forms of composition may be submitted electronically and accompanied by a brief descriptive entry telling who the writer is; the genre of writing represented; and why she/he selected this particular piece to submit to the gallery. The gallery curators will select writing to be displayed.
