Writings may be submitted by teachers or their students from Kanawha and surrounding counties of WV, especially teachers who are affiliated with and have completed workshops offered by CWVWP.
The poet Pat Mora coined the term "bookjoy" to describe the power and pleasure of languages and storytelling. The "house of books" can be a school, home, and public library space. Share these stories with us about libraries and bookjoy in your life.
All those interested in poetry and poetry teaching may use this gallery as a means to publish a variety poems and other related poetry resources. In so doing, the Poetry Commission hopes to further promote a culture and community for the reading, writing, and teaching of poetry.
