Importance of the Piece:
I chose to write my poem "A Sip of Truth" so that I could express my opinions about a section of the book "To Kill A Mockingbird". In this book, people are often judged too quickly. I wanted to express how important it is to know someone before you start judging them. This poem was fun to write. I presented this poem to my EH1 English class. Each student discussed their poems and the reasons behind their topic. I enjoyed the discussion along with the poem project.
